All variants weigh a total of 4 'mass' units: There are a total of thirteen grenade 'magazine' variants which all UGLs can load and fire. Only the SPAR-16, CAR-95, Promet and AK-12 utilise conventional leaf/notched sights for aiming. Of the eight platforms, the UGLs mounted on the MX, Katiba, Mk20 and TRG-21 all feature red dot quadrant sights for optics. The following weapon platforms all feature at least one or more sub-variants fitted with a UGL: They always rise in 50 metre increments no matter the UGL model. The sight's zeroing can be adjusted starting at a distance of 50 metres up to a maximum of 400 metres. There is no differentiation between a UGL mounted on a NATO SPAR-16 rifle or that on a CSAT Katiba bullpup all can load and fire the exact same types of grenades.ĪrmA 3 is also the first game in the series to feature adjustable launcher sights.

As in ArmA 2, underbarrel grenade launchers are almost always exclusively fitted onto the underbarrel rail of assault rifles in ArmA 3.īut unlike in ArmA 2 however, UGLs now share from the same pool of grenade 'magazines' irrespective of faction or alignment.
